Q: Where should I store my Wise Food?

A: This depends upon where you live.  Meals made of both freeze-dry and dehydrated components are affected by temperature, moisture and light. Optimal storage conditions for    our meals are in cool, dry places.

Q: How much water will I need?

A: On average, each individual serving requires 1 cup of water.

Q: Do I have to use boiling water?

A: Hot water speeds up the process of reconstitution.  Wise meals will be ready to eat more quickly when hot water is used.  However, many of the meals can be re-hydrated and ready to eat with any temperature of water.

Q: How are the meals packaged?

A: 100% of our meals are packaged in mylar pouches.  These pouches are then arranged in durable polyethylene buckets for easy storage.  Please see our Smart Packaging section for more information.

Q: How long do the meals last in storage?

A: Studies have proven that freeze-dry and dehydrated foods will last up to 25 years or even longer. For optimal storage life it is suggested that food be stored in a cool, dry place, such as a basement, with room temperatures of 50 to 55 degrees.

Q: How much food should we have stored for our family?

A: The needs of each family are different. Please refer to our “Storage Calculator” link to best determine your precise needs.

Q:  Why use both freeze-dry and dehydrated ingredients?

A: Wise Company uses a best of breed approach. Certain ingredients set-up and taste better when freeze-dried (vegetables, fruits, meats) while others do better through dehydration. In these cases, dehydrated ingredients offer all the benefits and better value than foods that have been freeze-dried.

Q: Why should I purchase from Wise Company?

A: At Wise Company we have a long track record of customer satisfaction.  We are confident that you will find our product to be of the highest quality, best priced and the most available.  Most buyers receive their product in less than two weeks from the time it is ordered.

Q: Where can I find nutritional information on your entrée’s and breakfasts?

A: For nutritional information, please visit our website at www.raytechstdore.com

or you can call us toll free at 800-838-5898

Q: What alternative uses are there for your product?

A: In addition to storing Wise meals for an emergency situation a number of customers have found our product to be versatile enough to be consumed on a day-to-day basis.  Entrees are also often used on camping, hunting and backpacking trips. Others pull them from the pantry at home or take them to work when they don t have time to prepare a meal or go out for lunch.

Q: How are my products shipped?

A: All packages are shipped through UPS, FedEx, or LTL carriers.

Business History
We decided to offer this product because it comes from a reputable manufacturer who focuses on vitamins, flavor, texture, shelf life, and stability. We are proud to offer a product that helps people during emergencies. Also, it's all grown and made in the U.S.A.

We are living in a time never before experienced.  There are several possibliities and probabilities of major events taking place as we speak.  We have heard of peak oil and the cost of extracting oil in the future getting more and more expensive.  What does this mean to us?  Almost everything we use, from shoes, to tires, plastics to gasoline, are made with oil.  Prices on all commodities have been and will be, costing us more and more.  Our Dollar. or better put, what it will buy today, has been losing value for years. Click Here  Production of what we use today is more efficient, yet costing us more because of money printing and our debt (Does China Own The United States? you decide) as a nation. It's not that cars today cost more than in the 1950's, but that it takes more dollars to buy a car because each dollar is only worth a fraction of what it use to be worth. Not backed by Gold since 1971, and only backed now by the confidence of the people, many have said that the dollar has seen it's day, and we are ready for a new Global Currency.

We are running out of water.  Many nations have been on water rationing for years. Some experts have said that Food and Water will be worth more to us than Gold in the near future.

Chance of Bio Warfare: Airborne virus released, threats from other countries.  We could have to remain in our homes for days or weeks.  We will need food and water storage.

Natural Disasters:  We have seen what happens in the ongoing volcano activity, flooding such as Kitrina, Tsunami after earthquakes, Nuclear meltdowns and radiation traveling on the jet stream from Japan to the U.S.

Any major disaster, natural or otherwise could take the Govt. and FEMA, days weeks or months to assist us.  There are sections of torn up states after a disaster, that have never come back to normal.

Have you ever seen a supermarket before or after a warning of even a small caliber.  Now imagine something that would tear up the roads so no new supplies can get to us for an extended period.

It's up to us to be self sufficient at least in a small degree. If you have'nt seen the thousands of middle class people that have suddenly found themselves out of work and unable to make their mortgage payments, winding up in places they would have never dreamed of. Tent Cities, springing up throughout the U.S., now becoming commonplace.

We offer 25 year shelf life meals in Pouches.  One and two meal servings so there is no waste.  Just add hot or cold water and wait 10 minutes.  With hot water, if available, this food taste like a Gourmet restaurante.

Don't wait until it's too late.  Before Y2K and after the Japan Disaster, amonst many others, all Survival products were hard to come by.  There were weeks of delays for Food and Supplies.  In fact FEMA and other Govt. agencies were buying all they could get their hands on.  Suppliers fill the big orders before the supplies trickle down to the common man.

At approx $1.50 per meal, you can't go wrong.  Click on above links or HERE to enter our website for the kit that is right for you and your family.  Remember, 25 year or more life on our pouches.  No waste as in # 10 cans that once opened, greatly reduce the shelf life.  These #10 cans and other bulk storage food is what most companies sell.
